If you love TV like I do, you know that the Emmys are “the” show to watch because it brings together all our favorite TV stars and of course, they all come out donning their best fashions. The 2012 Emmys were no exception with the red carpet filled with beauties wearing everything from sunny yellows to elegant grays. Here are my top 10 favorite looks from last night:
January Jones from Mad Men look absolutely stunning in this glamorous Zac Posen dress…reminding all of us that black is always a chic choice.
Edie Falco aka Nurse Jackie shows off her ridiculously amazing figure (fyi: she’s 49 years old) in this sexy Stella McCartney number.
Emily Vancamp from one of my favorite shows, Revenge, looks effortlessly elegant in this beautiful J. Mendel gown.
Ginnifer Godwin from ABC’s Once Upon A Time looks every bit the fairy tale star in this dress by Monique L’huillier…hands down one of my favorite looks.
The beautiful Jessica Pare, also from Mad Men, channels timeless Hollywood glam in this classic Jason Wu one shoulder dress…perfect for the red carpet!
Leave it to the gorgeous Julianne Moore to shake up the looks at on the red carpet with this Dior Haute Couture gown in a show stopping yellow.
Padma Lakshmi from Bravo’s Top Chef shows off her skin’s beautiful tone and looks fabulous in this glamorous Monique L’huillier creation.
I love funny woman Tina Fey and was soooo thrilled to see her looking so sleek and chic in this Vivienne Westwood strapless number! She looked great!!
Modern Family’s Sofia Vergara can do no wrong in my eyes. Here she is looking amazing in a Zuhair Murad gown…wow, wow, wow!!
And last on my best dressed list is the incomparable Glenn Close looking elegant and sophisticated in Bibhu Mohapatra (you may remember I did a post on him here…and I told you to be on the look out for him because I foresaw big things in his future…what can I say, I know a good thing when I see it). So happy to see his gorgeous designs showing up on the red carpet and on Glenn Close…totally a major deal ;)
So…those are the ladies that caught my eye during the 2012 Emmys.
Now…I had to include this next picture because I just couldn’t understand why/what the stylist was thinking but Lena Dunham in Prada was by far my least favorite look of the night. It was sooo frumpy, unbalanced and for me, utterly uninspired. For such a young, beautiful woman…this was clearly a mis-matched dress.

And thanks for your comment on my blog (as always!) I love the Lauren Conrad heels I’m wearing…however I would have to be honest and say that they are not very comfortable. I only wear them on days I know I’ll be sitting behind a desk non-stop. Hope that helps!
