Not quite 50 shades of grey…but close ;)

I had the pleasure of attending the wedding of a close friend’s sister a couple weeks back and this is what I chose to wear. Since the weather was pretty nice, I knew I wanted something short but still in a “fallish” hue so I opted for gray…which I find always to be chic. Then I accessorized everything in various hues of gray. It was monochromatic but not boring (at least in my opinion). Here is what I wore:

Suzi Chin for Maggie Boutique lace overlay shift dress (purchased at Marshall’s for $34.99)
Kenneth Jay Lane Cubic Zirconia drop earrings
Acrylic ball necklace from So Good Jewelry on Lincoln Road
Pasha de Cartier watch (I always forget I have this watch so if you don’t see me wearing it…please remind me to use it)
Christian Louboutin Very Prive pumps in silver (sold out in silver, but available here in gold)

So…it’s not quite as scandalous as 50 shades might be but I’d say this look has some sexiness to it and definitely a lot more substance ;)

XOXO,
Martha
