Tuesday was a relatively calm night…before the storm, of course. My friend Ria Michelle and I headed over to MOCA for their annual party co-hosted by Vanity Fair. It was a first class event with chi-chic people, Belvedere vodka concoctions (not that I tried, but Ria said they were delicious) and actual food…you never get that at party this large. We walked through and chatted with some friends and then checked out the installation by Bill Viola. While enjoying the visual installations from room to room, we found ourselves not intentionally following Stefano Tonchi, who coincidently is here in Miami to do a talk with Ms. Diane von Furstenberg herself today at Design Miami. So as you can tell, there is a lot to do/see/hear during this week in Miami.
I’m not at my best…looking a little bloated but c’est la vie de la preggo ;) I’m wearing a French Connection jeweled neckline dress, Christian Louboutin Miss Boxe wedges and YSL clutch. Please visit Ria’s blog for more deets on her look.
Tonight I am heading to see Design Miami and then of course, the official launch of the whole event…the Vernissage for the Art Basel show. This is usually the best night for me…we have a large group of friends going so after admiring all the priceless art, we all head out for dinner. Stay tuned for that post ;)
