Christian Louboutin & Ye Hongxing

One of the events I looked forward to the most during Art Basel was the Christian Louboutin opening reception of Ye Hongxing’s installation. The combination of gorgeous shoes and groundbreaking art was the perfect marriage of fabulousity during the Art Basel. Ye Hongxing uses layers of stickers to create her pieces (collages) and they are so fun and vibrant to look at.  Here’s what I wore to that evening’s soiree…

London Times lace shift dress– If you don’t know this brand, check them out. They have beautiful, trendy and very affordable dress options.
Christian Louboutin glitter pumps (sold out)- These are my favorite babies…I feel like a complete princess when I wear these.
H&M gold chain bag

Art and shoes…what’s not to love? Among the fashionable crowd that attended this event was the uber talented Roland Mouret and the glamorous Dita von Teese.

This is the piece that the artist did especially for Christian Louboutin. And believe it or not, it’s all stickers…amazing, right? I love the seemingly hidden shoes in the artwork.IMG_4484 Below is my most favorite member of Miami’s Louboutin family…Mario Santos. I always have such a great time with him. Not only does he have a great sense of style (as noted by his studded Louboutin loafers), he always makes my shopping experience fabulous. I definitely recommend asking for him when in Miami.
The Christian Louboutin store in Miami is located in the artsy Design District. The store itself is a work of art…and for me, it’s a little slice of heaven ;)
