Fashion for a Cause

Hello, babies!

Can you believe it? I’m back in the cyber world…although if you check my social media channels, I never really left, I simply took a blogging break. Being a mom of two babies plus living that thing called life really left me with little time to work on my blog….but now, I’m back and I’m more excited than ever to share with you some fashion and of course, some mommy tales.

My first post back is a fabulous one at that. I’m so proud and happy to be part of the Fashion for a Cause campaign “Bloggers Against Breast Cancer” for the third time in my blogging career.
This is such an important cause and having a daughter makes it even more relevant to me.
I want to bring awareness and raise funds to find a cure so that when my little princess is my age, breast cancer can be something of the distant past and not something for her to fear.

We have partnered with Bloomingdales Aventura for this campaign and our hard “work” (hey, no one said modeling was an easy job) can be seen throughout the store during the month of October.
Stop by the store on October 8th, 2016 for a “Pink Afternoon” and enjoy sips, drinks and a fashion show featuring some of my gorgeous blogger sisters.

Also, the hip sweatshirt donned by my daughter’s favorite bear…it’s designed by famed fashion illustrator Donald Robertson, created by Alternative, and is sold nationwide and online. Best part? $15 of the $40 price tag will go directly toward supporting the cause. Shop for it here.
I see some of you thinking and yes, this would make a fab holiday gift (never too early to start shopping).

The greatest thing we can do is to leave a better place for the next generation. Getting involved and supporting important events like this will help create a happier, healthier future and that’s what 100% what I’m all about.
