I gotta be honest, I’m not totally sure that name is politically correct. I mean, I’m kind of making assumptions to what peasants wear when they may in fact be wearing something totally different and take my post’s title to be offensive…so for that, I apologize in advance ;)
But I do love the look of this “possibly” peasant style dress. It’s flowy, it’s easy and with the right pair of shoes, it can make quite an entrance…so maybe it’s not so peasanty after all??
The dress is textured, striped, and ruffled…it’s got a lot going on but it’s got a casual fun vibe which works for me. And it happens to be forgiving to my body right now (seriously…Halloween has totally thrown off my diet!).
These shoes are simply timeless…they’re ancient in shoe years but still manage to get compliments everywhere I go. Invest in quality and it WILL last you for a long, long time.
So what do you guys think of the peasant meets Fifth Avenue look? I think it works but what do I know, I’m just a country girl raised in Indiana ;)
