At the time of this post, I was 38 weeks pregnant…and being offered to chance to try out Miami’s newest AAA 4 star restaurant was a no brainer…I mean, when you’re pregnant, you simply can’t pass up the chance to have a delicious meal. So the hubby and I went out for dinner on what would unknowingly be our last dinner out as a couple sans children. We headed to the Bentley Hilton and walked into their De Rodriguez Cuba restaurant for a true Miami inspired meal.
(Side note: It was really hard to take clear shots because of the lighting but trust when I tell you that the food looks absolutely beautiful upon presentation)

Last Minute by Spa Finder
In this day and age, it’s a miracle we can accomplish all the things we have on our plates let alone find time for a little pampering so the new service by the SpaFinder team is perfect for the modern day busy lady (or man). I was invited to lunch on a private yacht (yes, rough day for me) and chat with the CEO of SpaFinder, Pete Ellis, about their newest addition, Last Minute. So come and cruise away with me ;)

Chantecaille Blogger Brunch at Saks Bal Harbour
Any time I can spend my morning shopping, learning and brunching at Saks Fifth Avenue in Bal Harbour is time well spent ;)
I was invited to the private preview of the Chantecaille makeup line and spend the morning with some other lovely Miami Fashion Bloggers. We learned a lot about this small family run business that features a big eco-friendly vision and a compassionate heart. Omar Lima-Chavez, their Southeast executive, told us the history behind this great line and shared with us their philanthropic works which this year include the “Save the Sharks” palette featuring Spring’s best colors; 5% of the profits from this palette go to the Bloom Association, an organization working hard to preserve and save sharks from extinction.
A beauty company that truly cares…now that is something I can definitely support.

Sailing away into Spring!
The first official day of Spring has come and gone and that means warmer weather is just around the corner. In Miami, some locals greet this with slight trepidation…but I for one am always happy to have more heat (even if it means extreme humidity) than cold. So I am definitely excited for the weather to warm up to a more tropical setting. That’s not to say I may not write an exasperated tweet when the weather really gets crazy hot. But for now, I’m happy as a clam for the warmth. I went out for a little stroll along Miami Beach’s marina and this is what I wore:

Preggo in a blue dress
Miami has been going through a fashion explosion the last couple of years…tons of fashion houses are moving here, smaller boutique designers are setting up shop and more local designers are being featured nationwide…so trust that Miami is definitely much more than flip flops and maxi dresses. Case and point, the Italian shoe and accessory designer, Carlo Pazolini, has just opened the doors to his newest location in Merrick Park. The collection is gorgeous…classic designs and beautiful leathers. I attended the opening hosted by fellow Miami fashion blogger, Ginger Harris from Electric Blogarella, and this is what I wore:

Ladies who lunch
Miami has a truly fabulous circle of fashion bloggers and luckily we’re all excited to see each other when we have a chance to get together. Carmen Ordonez from Viva Fashion Blog hosted a delicious (and chic) luncheon for some of us in honor of Jergens’ newest Crema collection at the glamorous St. Regis Hotel. It was a great way to try out this fab new product and spend the afternoon chatting up with some of my favorite ladies in the blogosphere.
