For a long time I didn’t think that I could wear drop-waist dresses because my torso is long already. I thought that wearing a drop-waist dress would just make me look super duper long and not in a sexy supermodel way ;) Anyway, I’m happy that I sometimes go against my assumptions and push myself to try things on regardless. I saw this simple but chic dress while shopping at Armani Exchange and I immediately loved it. Not only does it fit my body beautifully, it’s very forgiving (thank you, black!) plus it looks super feminine and girly. I also…

I’m the first to admit that I’ve still got a ways to go before I can flaunt my bodycon dresses again…but I’m working hard to get back into them with my Pilates (especially with my jumpboard sessions). And just to be clear, I’m not stressing about it because I think I look bad…it’s mostly because I really miss my old clothes ;) And because I feel better when I’m more fit and toned…which happens to be the most important reason of all. I’m baaaaaaaaaack after a fabulously (but exhausting) whirlwind three weeks. As some of you know from my Facebook page and Instagram feed, baby Mia arrived on May 5th, 2013 at 6:23pm. Yep, I’m round, I’m wearing horizontal stripes and it’s quite possible that from far away I may look like a dreamsicle…but isn’t that delicious ;) I love being able to play with fun spring and summer colors lately. As chic as black is, color is like wearing a smile. You simply feel good. I wore this comfortable outfit out the other day for an early bird dinner with the hubby. It was perfect for the warm afternoon sun and transitioned beautifully for the breezy evening later.

Or in my case, I guess I should write “bump” ;). I have officially come to the bump phase of my pregnancy…meaning, it’s there. Like, no denying. And now I am loving the help from some uber chic maternity lines such as Isabella Oliver. They sent me this gorgeous ruched dress and it’s such a beautiful way to flaunt your baby bump. I had been waiting for the right occasion to wear this number and when my good friend Norka (she’s a fabulous musical artist…check out her link to hear her) invited us to her birthday party at the Soho…
