Spring has sprung…or as we say in Miami, summer is here! Seriously, the temps are in the 80’s and the humidity is wrecking havoc on hair all over the city. But I’m not complaining…that much. There’s something so Miami about this weather. I mean, I love a cold front and who doesn’t adore their hair when the air is dry, but these temps now are perfect for beach afternoons, sunset drinks at The Standard, strolling around Lincoln Road, grabbing sushi at Pubbelly Sushi’s patio…these temps are as Miami should be. Now is the time to bare shoulders, get some…

I never intended to be a “super” breastfeeding mama in regards to the length of time my children would nurse. Truth be told, it was a very rocky road at first. I remember crying to fellow bloggers at an event 10 days after Mia was born and telling them I couldn’t do it. It was too hard. I hated it. My friends, fellow moms, comforted me and told me that it was okay to not nurse, to give her formula, that it would all be alright. And they were right.   Oh yes…another black dress for my collection. You know how I feel (see my other new dress in this post) about black dresses. No two are a like and they all have their own purpose and “feel”. This dress, to me, is beyond chic while being totally sexy. Sophisticated sex appeal. Now that’s a trend I can always agree on. The fit to this dress is classy but check out that slit…woah! Something about their gorgeous leathers, classy color options, and attention to detail that keep Coach consistently in the…

This dress is pretty much the most “Princess Martha” dress I own. It’s classic but chic, it’s detailed but simple, it twirls beautifully yet it can be taken seriously. I love love love this dress. My most favorite thing, it’s cotton with just a little hint of stretch. I know, who knew something so “basic” could make me feel so luxe but honestly, there is something so fabulous about authentic fabrics. Silks, cottons, linens…they all hold special places in my heart and in my closet. I wore this dress for our annual family photo shoot (see that post here) and…
