After Mia, I didn’t have to do too much to lose the baby weight. It kind of came off naturally, slowly, but surely. I added a couple workouts here and there but I don’t remember being crazy fit or working out everyday. Nonetheless, I went back to my size 4 in about 9 months time and maybe even a size 2 after a year out. Well, my second pregnancy was a little different and I got postpartum preeclampsia after my son was born. I wasn’t able to get the “green light” to workout until 5 months postpartum and by…

Oh yes…another black dress for my collection. You know how I feel (see my other new dress in this post) about black dresses. No two are a like and they all have their own purpose and “feel”. This dress, to me, is beyond chic while being totally sexy. Sophisticated sex appeal. Now that’s a trend I can always agree on. The fit to this dress is classy but check out that slit…woah! Clearly I’ve been drawing some inspiration from the queen of side slits, J.LO… Hey, this is a Miami based blog after all. I love that I can…

Do you remember this dress? I posted it a while back and it’s still one of my favorite pieces…ever. Not only is the color my fave but it’s fun, girly, and Valentino…so it’s pretty hard to beat this option. But the icing on the cake was most definitely the price. Something about their gorgeous leathers, classy color options, and attention to detail that keep Coach consistently in the…

This dress is pretty much the most “Princess Martha” dress I own. It’s classic but chic, it’s detailed but simple, it twirls beautifully yet it can be taken seriously. I love love love this dress. My most favorite thing, it’s cotton with just a little hint of stretch. I know, who knew something so “basic” could make me feel so luxe but honestly, there is something so fabulous about authentic fabrics. Silks, cottons, linens…they all hold special places in my heart and in my closet. I wore this dress for our annual family photo shoot (see that post here) and…
