Easy peasy. My motto always. Especially while navigating toddlerhood and pre-teen world…okay, true, Mia’s only 4 but it does feel like we’ve entered her pre-teen years….anyone else with a stubborn, super smart, sassy 4 year old out there? Send me your tips on staying calm and not negotiating to have her do every single thing. Sigh. Anyway, because my life can be a little busy, I am always searching for easy ways to stay polished while having to give my look minimal thought. I love easy dresses and classic touches to create a perfect day look. This Likey dress and…

Okay, so I may have taken a literal holiday break from the blog but chances are you’ve probably already seen this J.Crew striped dress on my Instagram. Sorry if you’re tired of it…but let’s be honest, this dress is hard to get tired of. At least for me. I loved it when I saw, the first time I wore it, and even know (months later) seeing it in these photographs. I gotta be honest, I’m not totally sure that name is politically correct. I mean, I’m kind of making assumptions to what peasants wear when they may in fact be wearing something totally different and take my post’s title to be offensive…so for that, I apologize in advance ;) But I do love the look of this “possibly” peasant style dress. It’s flowy, it’s easy and with the right pair of shoes, it can make quite an entrance…so maybe it’s not so peasanty after all??
