This dress is pretty much the most “Princess Martha” dress I own. It’s classic but chic, it’s detailed but simple, it twirls beautifully yet it can be taken seriously. I love love love this dress. My most favorite thing, it’s cotton with just a little hint of stretch. I know, who knew something so “basic” could make me feel so luxe but honestly, there is something so fabulous about authentic fabrics. Silks, cottons, linens…they all hold special places in my heart and in my closet. I wore this dress for our annual family photo shoot (see that post here) and… View Post

I’m not gonna lie to you guys…I own wayyyyy too many LBDs. It’s like my kryptonite. I have no will power when I see one that I like. And even though they all have the same color palette, in my eyes, they’re all unique and definitely necessary in my wardrobe. This 10 Crosby Derek Lam dress is a perfect in styling, cut, and bounce. I’m a mom so I know a thing or two about rompers, but to be honest, I never actually thought about buying one for myself. For starters, I have a really long torso and most rompers/jumpsuits are too short for me and secondly, I never found one that I thought went with my style. Most are super short and sexy but I prefer a little longer and more consevative/classic. This romper from Banana Republic was the perfect blend of what I wanted. Length, both in torso and in legs, and classic ruffle detailing.

Fact: Being a mom of two is not for the weak…or those that need sleep to function. It’s a balancing act and it requires a lot from you. Not only are you loving, mothering, guiding two children, but you’re also worried about how you feed them and yourself…especially if you’re a breastfeeding mom like me. I’ve always believed that food is our fuel and the better quality the “fuel” is, the better the “engine” runs. Obviously I’m a big supporter of the organic/natural foods movement and totally anti artificial anything…including genetically modified organisms (GMO). Once you start going down that… View Post
